Arrow Energy Dance + Secondary Schools Workshops

June – August 2012

There are two workshops available for Secondary school students. Each workshop will run for 60 minutes and will be taught in your school or at the local theatre. 

Ballet - Beginners / Intermediate / Advanced (Years 8 – 12)

  • Ballet technique class
  • Based on QSA's (Queensland Syllabus Authority) The Arts Essential Learnings 2010 Dance Syllabus
  • Relevant for Dance and Physical Education subjects

Dance Through the Decades Workshop (Years 8 – 12)

  • Modern social dance styles, inspired by repertoire from Cloudland
  • Based on the QSA's 2010 Dance Syllabus
  • Relevant for Dance, Physical Education, Drama, History or Social Science subjects
